Spencer Kaufman is a Junior at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), pursuing a major in Science, Technology, & Society, with an Information & Organizations concentration, and a minor in Cinema & Media Studies. From Long Island, New York, Spencer is deeply passionate about the intersection of media and technology, particularly how emerging platforms and innovations are transforming content creation, consumption, and engagement.

On campus, Spencer serves as the Events Committee Chair & Board Member for Wharton Undergraduate Media & Entertainment (UME), where he leads the planning and execution of engaging, high-impact events for members. Beyond event programming, he contributes to UME's Consulting Committee, conducting research on industry trends and providing strategic insights for local media and entertainment businesses.

Spencer also represents Warner Bros. Pictures as their official University Ambassador for the Philadelphia area, driving campus engagement with Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema studio releases. Additionally, he serves as a Mentor for Penn's Transfer Student Organization, Alumni Chair of Sigma Alpha Mu, and Social Chair of Kinoki Senior Society.

His professional experience spans diverse roles in media and technology,. He has interned with Artist House, Fireside Films, and Situation Group, where he conducted market research, supported film development, produced promotional materials, and implemented digital transformation initiatives. He has also worked on freelance projects for Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, among others, and consulted for a stealth startup and Gulfstream Pictures.

Beyond academics and career pursuits, Spencer is committed to giving back to his community. He actively volunteers and fundraises for the ALS Association of Greater New York and has participated for many years in UJA Federation's Supplies for Success initiative. His technical skills include proficiency in Python, Adobe Vegas, and various other tools—reflecting his commitment to blending creativity with technical expertise in today’s evolving media landscape.
